Bucket Lists Ronda Bowen, May 1, 2012January 1, 2022 Theme Song: “Young Folks” by Peter Bjorn and John Have you seen the films The Holiday and The Bucket List? It’s kind of interesting to think about things you would want to experience in your lifetime. Sometimes people put outlandish things on their bucket lists – things like “Climb Everest” and “Swim in the Amazon.” But these can be lists that are more mundane than that. Things you’d like to do, and that you’d feel really icky if you didn’t get to do within your lifetime. I’ve been giving thought to my own list lately (not because anything is going to happen to me, but because loving someone completely also means realizing how lucky we are to have the time we have.) I did a firewalk, which was one thing on my list. What sorts of things are on your list? Excellent! 🙂 It’s interesting to think about – regardless of whether you’ve seen the movie. I read a book last year or maybe the year before called “Creating Your Best Life” that talked about the art of list-making in connection with living life on purpose. Reply
