New Clairvaux Barbera Ronda Bowen, August 21, 2012October 10, 2025 New Clairvaux Barbera (Photo credit: pberry) New Clairvaux provides a wonderful, full-bodied, choice of wines. Their Barbera is no exception to the rule. If you’re looking for a wine that will go with many of your chicken dishes (think chicken Marsala, chicken cordon bleu, and even faux fried chicken), this is your wine. It also accompanies tacos (chicken tacos, turkey tacos, fish tacos) and spaghetti. The wine itself is full-bodied and it has hints of berries, cherries, vanilla, and oak. It is simply wonderful. If you’ve tasted this wonderful wine, what would you pair it with? We wound up pairing it with vegetarian lasagna.
