Sometimes you’re up late and can’t sleep…then you get hungry. And in those times, sometimes you start wanting junk food that is quick, but also satisfying. This is where the story of the sour cream blue cheese Mac and Cheese begins.
I couldn’t stop thinking about blue cheese or sour cream. No, I am not pregnant. I promise. I just really like food.
So, I got up, and decided to see about making this abomination – creation.
It was SO worth it. I had to share it with all of you.
I think next time I may fry up some bacon and add bacon crumbles to it!

Sour Cream Blue Cheese Mac and Cheese

Delicious snack or lunchtime hack for Organic Horizon's Mac & Cheese
Ingredients
- 1 Box Horizon Organic Mac & Cheese Classic
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 slices Castello Burger Blue Cheese
- 1 tbsp fresh chives
- Tabasco sauce
Instructions
- Follow directions on box until after draining pasta.
- Add sour cream, butter, blue cheese, and cheese pack to pasta, stir.
- Heat pasta until butter and cheese melt.
- Add chives.
- Add Tabasco sauce to taste.
Notes
- This would be great with bacon crumbled into it as well.
