On Jan. 25, Join a Global Day of Protest Against War with Iran.

Tomorrow, Saturday, January 25, all over the world, people will be standing up to oppose another Middle East war. According to Answer Coalition, many organizations are banding together to organize this action, including:

Initiators for this call include the ANSWER Coalition, CODEPINK, Popular Resistance, Black Alliance for Peace, National Iranian-American Council (NIAC), Veterans For Peace, US Labor Against the War (USLAW), Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF), United National Anti-War Committee, Pastors for Peace/Interreligious Foundation for Community Organization, International Action Center, United For Peace and Justice, Alliance For Global Justice (AFGJ), December 12th Movement, World Beyond War, Dorothy Day Catholic Worker, About Face: Veterans Against The War, Dominican Sisters/ICAN, Nonviolence International, Food Not Bombs and many other anti-war and peace organizations.

You can also register yourself as an endorser of the protest. You can imagine the catastrophic consequences of going to war in the Middle East at this juncture. Stand up and have your voice heard. You can find a list of cities where protests will take place on the Answer Coalition website as well as on the CODEPINK website (use their link to contact your congressperson to ask them to prevent this war), and the World Beyond War Events Map at The Action Network.

Go A Step Further
